Amy Winehouse - Back To Black [180g, Black] (LP) Vinyl

Back To Black is the second and final studio album by Amy Winehouse, released on 27 October 2006 by Island Records. Written largely around her relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil, it explores guilt, grief, infidelity and heartbreak, drawing on the pop and soul of 1960s girl groups and setting that sound against contemporary R&B and neo soul.

Winehouse made the record with producers Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson, backed by Sharon Jones's longtime band The Dap-Kings. Five songs were cut with Remi at Instrument Zoo in Miami, and six with Ronson and the Dap-Kings at Chung King Studios and Daptone Records in New York. Tom Elmhirst mixed most of the album at Metropolis Studios in London.

Five singles were drawn from it: Rehab, You Know I'm No Good, Back To Black, Tears Dry On Their Own and Love Is A Losing Game. The album has sold 20 million copies worldwide and is the United Kingdom's second best selling album of the 21st century. It won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2008 Grammy Awards and was nominated for Album of the Year, and in 2025 it was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry.

This is the standard single LP on 180g heavyweight black vinyl, issued by Island and Universal under catalogue number 173 412 8 and manufactured in the EU. The sleeve reproduces the original 2006 artwork, and the record comes with an inner sleeve carrying the full lyrics, credits and photography. This is the standard black vinyl edition; the picture disc and the half speed mastered double LP are separate releases with their own barcodes.
