The Advance Paris MyConnect 60 is the most compact member of the French manufacturer's MyConnect all-in-one range, packing a Class AB amplifier, CD player, DAB+/FM tuner, network streamer and Bluetooth receiver into a chassis just 265 mm wide. Where the larger MyConnect 150 and 250 adopt a standard 430 mm hi-fi footprint, the MyConnect 60 is designed for rooms where space is at a premium without sacrificing the engineering principles that define the range.
Amplification
At the heart of the MyConnect 60 is a Class AB amplifier delivering 2 × 70 W into 4 Ω (2 × 48 W into 8 Ω), powered by a toroidal transformer. Class AB topology is chosen for its combination of low distortion and musical warmth — Advance Paris prioritise this approach across their Classic Line over competing Class D designs. The amplifier section achieves a total harmonic distortion figure of less than 0.1%, a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 92 dB and channel separation exceeding 110 dB.
Digital Sources and Streaming
The built-in CD player handles standard audio CDs, while the network streaming section connects via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and supports AirPlay and DLNA. Streaming services include Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, TuneIn and iHeart Radio, with multi-room capability built in. A front-panel USB-A port allows playback from USB storage devices, supporting MP3, WAV, FLAC, ALAC and AAC formats. Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by a Texas Instruments PCM51X DAC.
Tuner
An integrated DAB+ and FM tuner provides access to digital and analogue radio broadcasts without requiring a separate component, further consolidating the system into a single chassis.
Connectivity
The rear panel carries two optical and one coaxial S/PDIF digital input alongside three analogue stereo inputs, one of which is switchable to an MM phono stage for direct turntable connection. Outputs include speaker screw terminals, a subwoofer RCA output for an active sub, and a stereo RCA pre-out switchable between fixed and variable level. A 6.3 mm headphone socket on the front panel provides private listening. Bluetooth reception allows wireless playback from phones and tablets.
Design
The compact chassis measures just 136 × 265 × 385 mm and weighs 5.5 kg. A glass front panel lends a clean, modern appearance. The firmware is upgradeable via USB, ensuring the system can receive future updates.
