The Q Acoustics 3010i 5.1 Cinema Pack sits within the 3000i range as the compact home cinema solution, pairing four 3010i bookshelf speakers with the 3090Ci centre channel and the slimline 3060S subwoofer. It offers a like-for-like replacement for the earlier Q3000 5.1 Cinema Pack, inheriting the 3000i series’ refinements in driver engineering, cabinet construction, and cosmetic finish. Within Q Acoustics’ cinema pack hierarchy, it slots below the 3050i 5.1 Cinema Pack, which substitutes the 3010i satellites for the larger 3050i floorstanders.

Satellite Speakers — 3010i

Each 3010i is a two-way reflex design housing a 100mm coated-paper-cone mid/bass driver and a 22mm decoupled dome tweeter. The tweeter is mechanically isolated from the cabinet via a compliant suspension mount, reducing the transfer of woofer vibrations into the high-frequency unit. The mid/bass driver uses a low-hysteresis rubber surround for consistent excursion behaviour. Frequency response is quoted at 65Hz–30kHz (+3dB, −6dB) with a sensitivity of 86dB (2.83V at 1m) and a crossover point of 2.6kHz. Average impedance is 6Ω, dropping to a minimum of 4Ω, making the 3010i compatible with a wide range of AV receivers.

The cabinet employs Q Acoustics’ P2P™ (Point to Point) internal bracing — a computer-aided placement of bracing struts that stiffens the enclosure walls and reduces panel resonance. Low-profile binding posts replace conventional terminal panel cut-outs, improving rear-panel rigidity while accepting standard 4mm banana plugs. Rubber isolation feet are fitted as standard, and optional wall-mount brackets are available separately. Each speaker weighs 4.1kg and measures 253 × 150 × 252mm (H × W × D) from an effective internal volume of 4.0 litres.

Centre Channel — 3090Ci

The 3090Ci centre speaker uses the same driver family as the 3010i but in a dual-woofer configuration: two 100mm coated-paper mid/bass units flanking a single 22mm decoupled tweeter. This arrangement raises sensitivity to 89dB (2.83V at 1m) and extends the power handling capability, with Q Acoustics recommending 50–165W from an AV receiver. Frequency response is 75Hz–30kHz (+3dB, −6dB) with a 2.7kHz crossover. The cabinet measures 152 × 430 × 216mm and weighs 6kg, with an effective volume of 6.6 litres. P2P™ bracing and the same low-profile binding post design carry over from the satellites.

Subwoofer — 3060S

The 3060S is an active subwoofer built around a 200mm (8-inch) bass driver in an infinite-baffle (sealed) enclosure, powered by a 150W Class D amplifier. The sealed design trades ultimate low-frequency extension for tighter, more controlled bass — frequency response is quoted at 35–250Hz (+3dB, −6dB) with a variable crossover spanning the full 35–250Hz range. At 300 × 480 × 150mm (H × W × D) and 8.5kg, the 3060S is one of the slimmest subwoofers in Q Acoustics’ lineup, making it straightforward to position beside or behind furniture. Controls and connections are concealed behind a magnetic hatch on the rear panel. The subwoofer ships with both rubber feet and spikes for floor mounting, with an optional wall bracket available.

System Design and Finish

All speakers in the pack share a consistent aesthetic with chrome bezels around each driver and magnetic grilles that attach without visible fixings. The cinema pack is available in four finishes — Carbon Black, Arctic White, Graphite Grey, and English Walnut — each matched across all components. The compact dimensions of the 3010i satellites and the slim profile of the 3060S make the system well suited to rooms where space is limited, while all passive speakers in the pack support optional wall mounting via dedicated Q Acoustics brackets (sold separately).
