KEF LS50 Meta Speakers

The KEF LS50 Meta builds on the long-standing LS50 platform, incorporating KEF’s latest acoustic technologies to deliver improved clarity, reduced distortion and more controlled dispersion. It is designed for high-quality stereo listening and home cinema systems where accuracy and soundstage precision are priorities.

At the heart of the LS50 Meta is KEF’s 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array, which places the tweeter concentrically within the midrange cone to act as a single point source. This design is intended to improve imaging, phase coherence and off-axis consistency.

The introduction of Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) behind the tweeter is designed to absorb unwanted high-frequency reflections within the cabinet, reducing distortion and improving treble clarity. Combined with a carefully tuned enclosure, the LS50 Meta aims to deliver a balanced, transparent sound across a wide range of listening environments.
