Denon AVR-X2800H AV Receiver Black

The Denon AVR-X2800H is a 7.2-channel AV receiver designed to deliver immersive home cinema performance while serving as the nerve centre for music, gaming and streaming. Built around seven discrete high-current amplifier channels rated at 95W each, it supports the full range of modern surround formats — Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Surround — giving you full 3D audio immersion from compatible Blu-ray and streaming sources.

8K and 4K Gaming Ready

Three of the six HDMI inputs are rated for 8K/60Hz passthrough, and all six inputs support 4K/120Hz — essential for gaming setups using the latest consoles. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Quick Frame Transport (QFT) are all supported, ensuring smooth, tear-free 4K gaming. HDR formats covered include HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG for maximum compatibility with modern sources and displays.

Audyssey Room Correction

Audyssey MultEQ XT analyses your room acoustics using the included microphone and automatically calibrates speaker levels, distances and equalisation curves across multiple measurement points. Audyssey Dynamic EQ adjusts the sound balance at lower volumes to compensate for the reduced sensitivity of human hearing, while Dynamic Volume levels out sudden loudness changes between content sources.

Streaming and Wireless

HEOS Built-in integrates the receiver into Denon's multiroom ecosystem, allowing audio to be streamed from Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music HD, internet radio and local network servers. AirPlay 2 enables wireless playback and synchronisation from Apple devices. Bluetooth reception is included for wireless audio from phones and tablets, while the AVR-X2800H also functions as a Bluetooth transmitter, letting you route audio to wireless headphones without leaving your seat.
