Leema Acoustics Elements Integrated Amplifier
The Leema Acoustics Elements Integrated Amplifier is a compact, half-width integrated designed and built in the UK, combining a powerful amplifier stage with a flexible onboard DAC. It is intended as a high-quality hub for mixed analogue and digital systems, with enough drive and control to partner a wide variety of loudspeakers.
Connectivity is unusually comprehensive for a chassis of this size. Alongside multiple line-level inputs, the amplifier includes balanced XLR input, a pre-out for system expansion, and a full digital input set (optical, coaxial and USB). Inputs can be labelled via the menu system, and one RCA input can be configured as a dedicated AV input for easy integration with home cinema systems.
Practical touches include a front-panel headphone output and a front 3.5 mm auxiliary input. Digital conversion is handled internally using a Crystal DAC with Wolfson receiver, supporting sample rates up to 192 kHz, with higher sample rates selectable via the front-panel menu when required.
Speaker connections are via BFA sockets (also accepting standard 4 mm banana plugs), making it best suited to cables terminated with banana plugs rather than bare wire or spades. LIPS connections are provided for linking with other Leema components.
