Audiolab 6000A MkII Integrated Amplifier
The Audiolab 6000A MkII builds on the long-standing 6000A platform, refining both analogue amplification and digital processing while retaining the compact, understated design the series is known for. It is designed to function as the central hub of a modern hi-fi system, combining power, control and flexible connectivity.
The analogue amplification stage uses a discrete Class AB topology with a substantial toroidal transformer, delivering stable current delivery into real-world loudspeaker loads. Attention is paid to signal routing and power supply regulation to maintain low noise and consistent performance across a wide dynamic range.
Digital capability is expanded in the MkII through an updated ESS Sabre DAC implementation, supporting a wide range of high-resolution PCM formats via USB, optical and coaxial inputs. Bluetooth connectivity is also included for convenient wireless playback, while a dedicated headphone output and pre-out allow for system expansion.
