The Acoustic Energy AE509 is a high-performance floor-standing loudspeaker designed to showcase the capabilities of the 500 Series. Built around bespoke carbon fibre drive units and the advanced Resonance Suppression Composite (RSC) cabinet, the AE509 delivers a refined, high-resolution presentation with excellent dispersion and low distortion.

A newly developed 125 mm carbon fibre mid/bass driver combines with a 25 mm carbon fibre dome tweeter to ensure exceptional speed, transparency and tonal coherence. The result is an engaging, articulate sound that remains controlled and detailed even at higher listening levels.

The AE509 benefits from substantial cabinet engineering derived from the company’s Reference models. The RSC construction minimises cabinet resonance and improves midrange clarity, while the cast aluminium waveguide ensures smooth integration and wide dispersion from the tweeter.
