The Wharfedale Linton Stands are purpose-built to support and complement the Wharfedale Linton Heritage bookshelf speakers. Sitting within Wharfedale’s Heritage range — alongside the Linton speakers, Denton, and Super Linton — these stands are engineered to present the Linton’s listening axis at the correct seated height while providing critical vibration damping beneath a large, heavy standmount speaker.

Designed Exclusively for Linton

Unlike generic speaker stands, the Linton Stands are precision-manufactured to match the exact footprint of the Linton cabinet. The top plate mirrors the speaker’s base dimensions, providing a secure and stable platform without overhang. Each pair is finished in matching real wood veneer — Black Oak, Mahogany Red, or Walnut — with hand-matched veneers that visually integrate with the speaker cabinets for a cohesive system appearance.

Stability and Vibration Control

The rigid MDF construction with reinforced structure minimises resonance and mechanical vibration. At 43.7 cm tall, the stands place the Linton’s tweeter at a height optimised for a typical seated listening position, ensuring the drivers are correctly aligned with the listener’s ears. The stable base plate distributes weight evenly, supporting the Linton’s substantial cabinet without rocking or instability.

Integrated Vinyl Storage

A lower shelf between the base and top plate provides space for storing 12-inch vinyl records beneath each speaker — a practical nod to the Heritage range’s vintage-inspired design philosophy. The shelf is positioned low enough to keep the stand’s centre of gravity stable while offering convenient access to a small LP collection at the listening position.
