At its core are solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors. Solid cores eliminate the strand interaction distortion found in conventional stranded cables, while the long-grain copper structure means fewer grain boundaries and impurities in the signal path. The result is lower jitter and a noticeably cleaner, more dynamic sound when used in a streaming audio system.

Solid High-Density Polyethylene insulation maintains precise signal-pair geometry and minimises energy absorption, reducing phase distortion. Gold-plated nickel connectors with 100% shield coverage complete the package, ensuring a secure, low-noise connection at both ends.

Like all AudioQuest cables, the Pearl RJ/E is directional — arrows on the connectors indicate the optimal signal flow from source to destination (for example, NAS to router, or router to network player).
