The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System decouples your subwoofer from the floor, preventing low-frequency energy from travelling through joists, walls, and ceilings. Available in 4-pack and 6-pack configurations, each foot combines a stainless steel outer shell with a precision-optimised durometer elastomer isolator engineered through rigorous accelerometer and acoustic measurement. The result is tighter, more controlled bass with markedly reduced structural vibration transmission to adjacent rooms.
Vibration Isolation
By interrupting the direct mechanical coupling between subwoofer cabinet and floor, the SoundPath feet allow low-frequency effects to transfer through the air rather than through the building structure. This eliminates the buzz and rattle that afflicts hard floors and room boundaries, and significantly reduces the low-frequency energy your neighbours experience. The optimised durometer elastomer absorbs and dissipates subwoofer energy across the frequency range where structural transmission is most problematic.
Construction
Each foot measures 40mm in height with a 58mm stainless steel shell diameter and 53mm base diameter. The elastomer isolator is recessed within the shell, elevating the subwoofer cabinet on a stable cushion while maintaining a low, understated profile. Three sets of machine screws are supplied with each kit — ¼-20, M6, and M8 — to accommodate the threaded inserts used by virtually every subwoofer manufacturer. Each foot is rated for a load of between 2.3 and 13.6kg (5–30 lb), covering the full weight range from compact entry-level subwoofers to large, heavy cabinets.
Compatibility & Installation
The SoundPath feet work with nearly every subwoofer brand and model. Installation requires no tools: unscrew the existing feet, fit the appropriate thread adapter, and screw in the SoundPath feet. The 4-pack suits most standard four-footed subwoofers. The 6-pack is recommended for larger or heavier subwoofers where additional support points improve load distribution — and for SVS cylindrical PC-series subwoofers that use a six-foot arrangement. The feet also work with some turntables and other hi-fi components that accept screw-in feet.
