The 607 S2 Anniversary Edition is the most compact bookshelf speaker in Bowers & Wilkins' 600 Series Anniversary range, sitting below the larger 606 S2 Anniversary Edition and the floorstanding 603 S2 Anniversary Edition. Despite its diminutive cabinet, the 607 S2 Anniversary Edition delivers remarkable scale and detail, drawing on technologies developed for B&W's flagship 800 Series Diamond.

Continuum Cone Technology

At the heart of the 607 S2 Anniversary Edition is a 130mm (5 in) Continuum™ cone bass/midrange driver — the same woven composite material first introduced in the 800 Series Diamond. Continuum replaces the earlier Kevlar® cone used in previous 600 Series models, delivering a cleaner, more natural midrange free of the colouration that can affect conventional woven drivers. Voices and acoustic instruments are reproduced with exceptional purity and precision.

Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter

The 607 S2 Anniversary Edition features an upgraded version of B&W's proven Decoupled Double Dome aluminium tweeter, offering breakup performance at 38kHz — well beyond the audible range. The decoupled design mechanically isolates the dome from the cabinet, reducing resonance and improving high-frequency clarity. The result is an open, airy treble with fine detail retrieval.

Anniversary Edition Upgrades

Beyond cosmetic refinements, the Anniversary Edition benefits from a newly optimised crossover design. Carefully selected components in the crossover network extract greater insight and musical nuance from recordings, building on the strengths of the standard 607 S2 while maintaining its essential character.

Flowport Technology

The rear-firing bass reflex port uses B&W's Flowport technology — a dimpled, flared port tube inspired by the dimples on a golf ball. This design smooths airflow at the port exit, reducing turbulence noise and delivering a tighter, more controlled bass response from the compact 2-way vented-box enclosure.

Versatile Placement

Equally at home as a dedicated stereo pair or as part of a surround sound system, the 607 S2 Anniversary Edition suits smaller rooms where a full-size floorstanding speaker would be impractical. Its compact dimensions and rear-ported design allow placement on shelves or dedicated speaker stands.
